End of Message________________________________________________

For those not in the know about the power structure of Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Board of Directors are the appointed people who make the final decisions on all major aspects of the park.  Regina Myer and her staff report and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.
It’s short notice, but if you are thrilled with the seven hotel/housing proposals revealed just last week or perhaps not so thrilled, as the public you are allowed to attend this meeting.  No agenda yet has been revealed, and it’s not know if there’s any public comment period during the meeting.  But if there is, this would be chance to let the Board of Director decision makers that will determine Brooklyn Bridge Park know how you feel about aspects of park development.

If I were going I would argue that parcel B remain part of the park and parcel A be sold for far more money with the height allowance reduced to Squib park level.
I would be willing to bet some billionaire would buy it to develop ultra exclusive primary residences for the 1%.
But I’m not going to be able to attend.

Michael Bloomberg is running the show.

He sanctions more development while at the same time reduces school, transportation, fire and police services to the community. If any of HIS appointed BBP Directors votes against MB’s wishes, they get canned. (No more $ for u silly rabbit.)

    Puppet Shows make me depressed.
