Update on Brooklyn Bridge Pothole Work: Manhattan-Bound Lanes Open During Daytime This Weekend

Thank you for contributing to the success of last night’s Manhattan-bound detours and Brooklyn-bound contraflow on the Brooklyn Bridge. Please note that the remaining work will be conducted OVERNIGHT only, and not during the weekend days as previously stated.

The remaining work will occur:
Overnight Thursday 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Friday
Saturday 12:01 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.
Sunday 12:01 a.m. until 9:59 a.m.
Monday 12:01 a.m. until 5:59 a.m.

    I don’t really understand this. I travel the Brooklyn Bridge to and from work. It has to be one of the smoothest roads in the entire city. Where are these potholes that they need so much time to address?

    traffic going back to BK on the BK bridge last night was the worst I’ve ever seen it (around midnight). Just awful.

    Man you must have some great suspension on your ride?

    While the bridge span is smooth the approach ramps are just awful.

    I just came back over the Brooklyn Bridge 20 min. ago. It seems that the Brooklyn end is ready for paving soon. The other night I cut it too short and couldn’t get back on the bridge in time. At least they are being proactive.
