Parking Update

This in from Notify NYC:

The New York City Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Department of Sanitation, has suspended Alternate Side Parking Regulations for Monday, January 3, 2011 to facilitate snow removal. All other regulations, including parking meters, will be in effect.

    Good going Sanitation Department. Wouldn’t having people move their cars facilitate snow removal.

    Can’t move your car if it’s still snowed in, now, can you? And where are you supposed to move it to, if everyone else is still in their spots? I think the rules should be suspended until the damn snow melts more, and people can actually drive their cars out of where they’re now trapped…
