NY Times on Seaport Flowers

Seaport Flowers, which recently moved to new digs at 309 Henry Street, is expanding into the home goods business the NY Times reports:

NY Times: The store, which also has seasonal items like glittered deer figurines (from $25) and felt ball garlands ($40 for a six-foot strand), is as elegant as her arrangements. But the floral designer is quick to clarify that her taste is as much about durability as looks. “Everything in here, the rule is, it has to survive us,” she said, referring to fellow designers. “We like things that are sturdy but beautiful.” The selection of winter greens and giant pine cones ($5 to $7 each) on display in the back garden also meets Ms. Gardella’s criteria.
