The Brooklyn Cyclones, the Borough's own professional baseball team, have won the McNamara Division of the New York-Penn League, and will play a best of three semifinal series with archrival Staten Island Yankees. The opening game will be this Sunday at Staten Island (the stadium is conveniently near the ferry terminal) beginning at 5 PM. Game 2 will be at the Cyclones' home field, Keyspan Park on Coney Island, on Monday starting at 7 PM. Game 3, if necessary, will be at Keyspan on Tuesday at 7 PM.

9/9 Update: The Cyclones won the opener of their semifinal series at Staten Island, 8-4.
