On Monday, November 10, workers were laying sod on the eastern flank of Regina Ridge, as seen fom the Promenade. More photos and text follow the jump.

The removal of Pier 1′s platform from above the pilings at the southern end continues. Note the gaps btween the pilings marking the location of the subway tunnels on the “A” and “C” line.

The “spiral pool” at the foot of Pier 2 is getting a floor. This pool is apparently intended as a launching place for kayaks or canoes.

Addendum: Thanks to reader AEB for alerting me to some nice photos on Brownstoner made by someone who was on the Park grounds.
