WABC-TV Report: Brooklyn Heights Heroes Remembered

Channel 7’s Nina Pinada interviews the current members of Engine Company 205/ Ladder Company 118 on the 8th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Our firehouse lost 8 men at the World Trade Center that day.

Fox 5’s Linda Schmidt also visited. Video after the jump.

    we also lost a wonderful person. Lonnie Cacchione who died after going to the pit eveyday to look for our firefighters who she know and loved. May she rest in peace

    Thanks for that memory nicky. I remember Lonnie as being like a mother to that firehouse. Her loss is a sad one for all her neighbors on Middagh who knew her. She’s finally with her boys.
