There’s a different view, giving a better sense of its height, of the hill on Pier 1 in this photo, taken from the M/V Half Moon during Thursday evening’s Magnetic Field reunion live band karaoke cruise, featuring Bunnie England and the New Originals. If the Pier 1 portion of the Park does open in December, as promised, this may become a popular spot for sledding.
