As reported by Mary Frost in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, late Friday evening there was a “smoky fire” emanating from a fourth floor apartment at 75 Henry Street, part of the Cadman Plaza complex. The apartment, which faced Cadman Plaza West, was “under renovation.” Fire trucks arrived promptly and extinguished the fire before it could spread beyond the apartment’s living room. One resident reported minor water damage, and there were no serious injuries.
