There are two big events at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier Six, near the foot of Atlantic Avenue, this Saturday, October 24. One will be the long awaited opening of the beautifully landscaped outer portion of Pier Six. There will be a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m.; after that, there will be guided tours of the newly opened space starting each half hour from 10:45 a.m. through 12:15 p.m.
The other event is the Park’s sixth annual Harvest Festival, which takes place on the Pier Six lawn from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. There will be kid-pleasing singing groups, a Halloween parade starting at noon, as well as a pumpkin patch, photo booth, and haunted walk. It’s all free, and there’s more details here.
