The mother of the young man whose life ended in a fall from the roof of the St. George tower on March 5 has asked us to help quash some rumors that have circulated since then. In particular, he did not, as rumored, fall through a skylight at 60 Pineapple Street. His foot struck and broke it, but his body remained on the roof. He did not land on a dining room table, or in the bedroom of a little girl, as some have said. His parents have spoken to police officers who were on the scene that evening, and the officers have said that these rumors are false.
