Grace Church Brooklyn Heights has a long standing commitment to assist in the support of El Hogar de Amor y Esperanza (“The Home of Love and Hope”), which provides a home and school for homeless, destitute children in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This Sunday, May 15, Grace is holding a fund-raising walk-a-thon for El Hogar. The walk begins at Grace, 254 Hicks Street (between Grace Court and Joralemon) at 12:00 noon, will go for about one mile, and return to Grace, where a light lunch will be served. If you would like to participate, or to donate in support, details are here.
