BHB contributor and Brooklyn Eagle photographer Marc Hermann makes his theatrical debut this week in the Heights Players production of State Fair:
Brooklyn Eagle: Heights Players Director Talks About Season Finale: Both newcomers and Heights Players veterans lead this production’s 36-member cast. Thomas Kane, memorable as Curly in Of Mice and Men, stars as the family patriarch Abel. Betsy Marra, who starred as Marian in last season’s Music Man, plays his wife Melissa. Carly Rappaport and Josh Tag make their Heights debuts as daughter Margy and son Wayne. Lisa Walker of Ragtime plays a nightclub singer, and Marc Hermann, a photographer at this newspaper, plays the role of the newspaper reporter. Tyler joked that Hermann, whose parents are active members, has been performing with the Heights Players “since he was born.”
