Heights Players Present State Fair

The Heights Players open their production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair on Friday May 4. The musical will run on Fridays and Saturdays May 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 8:00 p.m.  And on Sundays May 6, 13 and 20 at 2:00 p.m. Reserve your tickets by calling 718-237-2752 or visiting the Heights Players website.

Update: BHB contributor/King of All News Photographers Marc Hermann will star in the play as newspaper reporter Pat Gilbert (or is it "Charlie" news photographer?).

    Shamless plug…yours truly plays, of all things, a 1940s news reporter in this. We’re having a great time putting the show together, and I think it’ll be a really good production in the end!

    What a waste of time and strain on the ears. Someone needs to shake up the “old guard” at the Heights.

    Have seen several Heights Players shows (saw this the last weekend) and must say this did have the feel of a hs. prod. Best thing I have seen in a while by this group was DA….just on another level….maybe it was the acting, (some new talent, especially the leads…Charlie and DA), or the direction…or both. Just my opinion, I know, but most people I spoke to who saw that show (and others by HP)agreed.
