The only planned service change directly and adversely affecting any local stations this weekend — late evening Friday, August 11 through early Monday morning, January 14 — is that 4 trains will not be serving Brooklyn in either direction. This means there will be no service at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall, as 5 trains do not serve Brooklyn on weekends. 2 and 3 trains should be running normally and, for those going to or from stations within Brooklyn, 2 and 3 trains will be serving all 4 train stops between Borough Hall and Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College, and 3 trains will serve all stops between Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue. For those traveling to or from the East Side of Manhattan, transfer between 2/3 and 4/5 trains at Fulton Street. There will be extra service in both directions all weekend at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as N trains will be re-routed to the R line betweem Dekalb Avenue in Brooklyn and Canal Street in Manhattan.
The following work week — Monday, August 14 through Friday, August 18, late nights Monday to Tuesday and Tuesday to Wednesday there will be no service in either direction at Clark Street or at the 2/3 platformsa t Borough Hall, as 2 train service will be suspended in both directions between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Chambers Street in Manhattan. Use 4, A, N, or R trains as options. Late nights Monday to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday, and Wednesday to Thursday there will be no Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO, as Manhattan bound F trains will be re-routed to the A/C line between Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn and West 4th Street-Washington Square in Manhattan. There will therefore be additional Manhattan bound service at High Street. To get to the LES stations on the F take a Manhattan bound A or F from Jay or High Street to West 4th, and take a Brooklyn bound F from there back to the skipped station. Thursday night to Friday there will be no Brooklyn bound service at High Street, as Brooklyn bound A and C trains will be re-routed to the F line between West 4th Street-Washington Square in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn. This means there will be extra Brooklyn bound service at York Street in DUMBO.
