Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

It’s a “green light” weekend from late Friday evening, December 6 to early Monday morning, December 9, as there are no planned – as always we stress planned– service changes directly and negatively affecting service at any local stations. There will be extra service in both directions at Court Street and at Jay Street-MetroTech, as N and Q trains will be diverted to the R line all weekend.

The following work week – Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 13 – there will still be extra service, but only in the Brooklyn bound direction, late nights at Court Street and Jay Street-MetroTech, as Brooklyn bound N and Q trains will be diverted to the R line. From late Monday night to early Tuesday morning there will be no 3 train service in either direction at Clark street or Borough Hall, but 2 trains should be running normally.

These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week that directly affect service at local stations. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions. Also, always check MTA Info for planned or unplanned changes that may affect your trip on other parts of the system.
