Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

Our good luck continues with another “Green Light” weekend, appropriate for St. Patrick’s Day. This weekend — Friday evening, March 15 to Monday morning, March 18 — there are no planned (as always, I stress “planned”) service changes directly affecting service at any local stations.

The following work week — Monday, March 18 to Friday, March 22 — each night from 9:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. there will be no service in either direction at High Street, as A trains will be re-routed over the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and 34th Street-Herald Square and over the D line between 34th Street and 59th Street-Columbus Circle, and C train service is ending early. On those same nights, from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be extra Manhattan bound service at Court Street and at the R platform at Jay Street, as Manhattan bound Q trains will be re-routed to the R line between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
