Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

From 9:30 PM Friday, September 14 to 5:00 AM Monday, September 17 all F trains are being diverted to the Q line between Lexington Avenue-63rd Street in Manhattan and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, so there will be no service at York Street in DUMBO and no F service at Jay Street, nor from the LES stops on the F. To get to or from the LES stops on the F take a shuttle bus to or from West 4th Street, connecting there With A or C trains to or from Brooklyn. A shuttle bus will also connect Jay Street and York Street. Over the weekend there will be no 3 trains running overnight, but 2 trains should be running as normal, so there will be service at Clark Street and Borough Hall. Once again we have extra service at Court and Jay streets, as N trains are being diverted to the R line from 10:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday.

The following work week — Monday, September 17 to Friday, September 21 — each night from 9:45 PM to 5:00 AM, there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street, as Manhattan bound A and C trains are being diverted to the F line between Jay Street and West 4th. Each night from Monday through Thursday from 9:45 PM to 11:45 PM there will be no 3 trains running, but 2 trains should be running normally.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
