On Friday evening, September 14 at 8:00, Bargemusic will present Tokyo to New York, a concert of contemporary music by Tokyo-based and New York-based composers, performed by Thomas Piercy (photo) on clarinet and guanzi, Cheng Jin Koh on yangqin, and Chen Yihan on piano.
On Saturday evening, September 15 at 8:00 and again on Sunday afternoon, September 16 at 4:00, a distinguished group of musicians led by Alexander Fiterstein on clarinet and Bargemusic’s Artistic Director Mark Peskanov on violin will perform works by Beethoven and Weber.
On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
