Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This weekend, from 9:45 PM Friday, September 7 to 5:00 AM Monday, September 10 there will be no service in either direction to or from the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall, as 4 trains are originating and terminating at Bowling Green in Manhattan, and 5 trains don’t serve Brooklyn on weekends. 2 and 3 trains should provide alternate service. During the same weekend hours, there will be no Brooklyn bound A or C service at High Street, as those trains are being diverted to the F line between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street-Metro Tech. Use the 2 or 3 to reach the Heights from locations below West 4th. Once again we have extra service to Manhattan from Court and Jay streets, as Manhattan bound N and Q trains are being diverted to the R line from 11:45 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday.

The following work week: Monday, September 10 to Friday, September 14, each night from 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM, there will be no service in either direction at York Street in DUMBO, as F trains are being diverted over the Q line between Lexington Avenue-63rd Street and Jay Street. To get to or from the LES stops on the F, use shuttle buses to or from West 4th that connect to the A train there.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
