This Friday evening, September 29, at 8:00, Bargemusic will present “Celebrating Polish Composers,” featuring works by Zarzycki, Twardowski, Lutoslawski, Szymanowski, and Wieniawski (thank God for copy and paste), performed by Kinga Augustyn (photo) on violin and David Oei on piano.
On Sunday afternoon, October 1, at 2:00, Colin Carr will perform the first three of the six solo cello suites by J.S. Bach; at 4:00 he will play the last three of these suites. (These are separate concerts, and require separate admission.)
There will be no concert, and no free “Music in Motion,” this Saturday, September 30. The regular Saturday schedule, including “Music in Motion,” will resume the following Saturday, October 7.
