Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Just like last weekend, apart from the absence of 2 and 3 train service in both directions between Brooklyn and Manhattan, meaning no service at Clark Street this weekend (11:30 PM Friday, September 29 to 5:00 AM Monday, October 2), but with 5 trains (which don’t usually serve Brooklyn on weekends) taking their place, and from there being no G train between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue, there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations.

The following work week (Monday, October 2 to Friday, October 6), each night from 11:45 PM to 5:00 AM, Manhattan bound F trains will be diverted to the A line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street. This means no Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO (but extra service at High Street) and no direct service from Brooklyn to the LES stops on the F: West Broadway, Delancey, 2nd Avenue, and Broadway-Lafayette. T orech these stops take a Manhattan bound A or F from High or Jay streets to West 4th, and change there for a Brooklyn bound F back to the skipped stop. For Broadway-Lafayette you may also take a 4 from Borough Hall to Brooklyn Bridge and change there for a 6 to Bleecker Street, which connects to Broadway-Nassau.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.
