Reggie needs something new to complain about every day.

I am talking about a recent phenomenon; large fungwah tour buses driving and parking on our residential streets.

As I said, this particular guy has been arrested for the same crime in the past. The cops who saw our surveillance video immediately recognized him, as did our UPS courier.

Reporting anything certainly can’t hurt but I felt the response we got was abnormally prompt and professional. I imagine the cops have their hands full this time of year.

    That’s encouraging.

Reading is fundamental folks. I neither made an accusation or complained; I asked a question, positing a couple of potential answers. Touchy, touchy, touchy….

There’s an official tour bus parking area on Cadman Plaza West. I suggest calling 311 or the 84th Precinct about this.

Speaking of traffic, yesterday about 4pm the BB was shut down Manhattan-bound because a large tractor-trailer had to back up to Adams Street; wanted to drive across the Bridge.

Does anyone know if it’s customary to tip the people who help us when purchasing a tree at one of the Christmas tree places in the neighborhood?

When I was a teenager I worked a couple of seasons selling trees. Back then, most customers tipped especially for deliveries.

Called the 84th precinct. They dont care. Said they usually follow the same route. Which is true, every night at 7pm. No help there.

The novel “Class” by Lucinda Rosenfeld (Little, Brown, $26, January 10, 2017) has a photo cover, which I’m pretty sure shows a building on Henry Street at Hunt’s Lane. Am I right?

I just scanned around on Google Street View. It’s not at that intersection but I’d be willing to bet it’s in Brooklyn Heights.

I think that’s a view, looking south, of 253 Hicks

You’re right! The corner of Hicks Street and Grace Court Alley. Here’s the building from the GC Alley side:

If I recall correctly the people who live there have some very interesting paintings, visible from the sidewalk. Family portraits, I think.

  • bklyn84

Yes, I think that’s the place.
