Construction Debris Falls From Roof of Former Brooklyn Heights Library

Jeez. Glad no one was hurt. It seems there’s little or no oversight here. I regularly see garbage and household items dumped and left in the little garden space. Who is responsible for maintenance – the developer, the BPL, Sanitation? We need to know.

It’s been incredibly windy, especially on the wind tunnel, uh, street where I live. I’ve heard the noise of loose stuff on the sidewalk shed across the street for the last several days.

I noticed that the Transit Authority bus dispatcher, who usually stands next to the Library, has perhaps permanently relocated to the Tillary Street median just east of the intersection with Cadman Plaza West.

Andrew, does the Museum give permission for its photos to be used elsewhere? Just providing credit generally isn’t enough without permission. Thanks.
