I was in this place once with a group of 8 or 9 friends and the experience was excellent. Very accomodating, and a great waiter. Hey, did you say this was game 7 of the World Series??? I don’t blame the bartender/owner for trying to move a water-drinker off the bastool on a night when any saloon expects gangbuster business to help pay their rent! Why didn’t you at least order a coke or a Pellegrino? Give the guy a break and stop trying to hurt a local business that seems to be doing pretty well.

Exactly Andrew. Good advice for no-drinkers. Would that guy walk into a restaurant and say, “I don’t want to order an entree, just bring me the bread basket.”
