Tomorrow (Saturday, October 29) Brooklyn Bridge Park will present its seventh annual Harvest Festival on Pier 6, near the foot of Atlantic Avenue, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Activities will include a parade, games, crafts, face painting courtesy of CATS on Broadway (and meet cast members), and a chance to learn Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance. It’s all free. There’s more information here.
The floating food forest Swale, which is docked on the north side of Pier 6, is inviting the public on board for tours during the Festival. Afterward, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Swale, in collaboration with Garden Kitchen Lab, will host “a public meal on the barge, consisting of teas, salads, and grilled vegetables.”
