This Wednesday evening, July 20, and the following, July 27, starting at 7:00 on the Harbor View Lawn at Pier 1, Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, and Brooklyn Bodega will present “Bridge Grooves”, two free concerts featuring “some of New York’s most exciting musicians”. This Wednesday’s event features the PitchBlak Brass Band along with Maurice “Mobetta” Brown (photo) and DJ OP!, who will get the groove going. The concert on the 27th will kick off with sounds by DJ Ray Suave, followed by the Afro-Cuban sounds of Larry Harlow.
