Bargemusic This Weekend

This Friday evening, April 8, at 8:00 Bargemusic will present a “Here and Now” concert, featuring pianist Geoffrey Burleson (photo) performing works by Saint-Saëns, Yehudi Wyner, James Primosch, David Rakowski, Missy Mazzoli, and his own composition. On Saturday evening, April 9 at 8:00 and Sunday afternoon, April 10, at 4:00, violinist Mark Peskanov, violist Kazuhide Isomura (of the Tokyo String Quartet), cellist Raman Ramakrishnan, and pianist Misha Dichter will perform works by Mozart and Brahms.

Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated. There’s more information and buy tickets for the evening and Sunday concerts here.
