The Brooklyn Heights Association and Bach in the Heights will present choruses, arias, and chorales from J.S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion on Sunday afternoon, March 20 at 3:00, at the Zion German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 125 Henry Street. The singers and orchestra will be conducted by Edward Houser; among the singers will be Metropolitan Opera basso Oren Gradus, making his first appearance with Bach in the Heights, and Brooklyn Heights favorite, soprano Ilana Davidson, making her return.
General admission tickets are $16 in advance–reserve and purchase here or call 718-858-9193–or $20 at the door. Patron tickets, for $100, include a reception after the concert.
