Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Once again this weekend, (11:45 p.m. Friday, January 15 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 18) there will be no service in either direction at the High Street station, as A and C trains are being diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street. To get to or from locations in Manhattan below West 4th, use the 2 or 3 at Clark Street or Borough Hall, the 4 at Borough Hall, or the N at Court Street.

The following week, late evenings from 10:00 p.m. to midnight Tuesday, January 19 to Thursday, January 21, 3 trains will not be running to or from Brooklyn; they will be stopping and starting at Chambers Street in Manhattan. Alternate service will be provided by 2 and 4 trains, so there will be service to and from Clark Street and at all platforms at Borough Hall. Those traveling to or from the interior of Brooklyn should know that 2 trains will not be running in either direction between Franklin and Flatbush avenues late nights (10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) Tuesday, January 19 to Friday, January 21. Service on the 2 and 3 will be normal on Monday, January 18, Martin Luther King Day.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
