Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This long Labor Day weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, September 4 to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, F trains will be diverted to the E line from Queens through Manhattan to Canal Street; from there they will take the A/C line to Jay Street-MetroTech. This means no service from Manhattan to York Street in DUMBO, though there will be service to Manhattan from there. If you’re going from Manhattan to DUMBO, take an A, C, or F to High Street and walk down the hill, or take an F to Jay and catch a Manhattan bound F back to York.

The following week, each night from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11, there will be no G train service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
