Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This coming weekend (11:45 p.m. Friday, July 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, July 27). Manhattan bound A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street/Metro Tech and West 4th Street. This means no service from High Street to Manhattan. For destinations in Manhattan below West 4th, use the 2 or 3 from Clark Street as an option. Meanwhile, those traveling to or from deepest Brooklyn should know that, once again, there’s no service this weekend in either direction between Utica and New Lots avenues on the 3 or 4, but shuttle buses will provide alternate service.

The following week, each night from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, Manhattan bound F trains will be diverted to the A/C line from West 4th Street to Jay. To get to Brooklyn from LES stops on the F (West Broadway, Delancey, 2nd Avenue, and Broadway/Nassau) , take an uptown F to West 4th, and change there for a Brooklyn bound A or F.

These are the only planned service changes directly affecting service at local stations this coming weekend or the following week. For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
