State Senator Daniel Squadron will host a “Community Convention” this Sunday afternoon, from 3:00 to 6:00, at Borough of Manhattan Community College, 199 Chambers Street. (Take the Manhattan bound 2 or 3 train to Chambers, then walk two blocks west, past Greenwich Street. BMCC will be on your right just before West Street.) In Sen. Squadron’s words:
We will talk about housing, education, transportation and other pressing issues facing our community. I will ask for your ideas, and your input, on community and legislative priorities for the coming year.
Do you have a creative plan for how to improve pedestrian safety? Do you have advice for me and my colleagues about affordable housing policy, or economic development in our community? Bring your thoughts to the convention to share with me and with our neighbors!
