Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

It’s a three-peat green light weekend (Friday night, June 26 to Monday morning, June 29) with no planned cancellations, route changes, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations. Those traveling to or from la Brooklyn profonde should know that from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday there will be no service on the 3 or 4 (which means no service at all) between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue. Shuttle buses provide alternative service.

The following week (Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 3) each night from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. there will be no 2 train service in either direction between Chambers Street in Manhattan and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. This means no service at Clark Street or on the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall during these hours (the 3 train doesn’t run to or from Brooklyn during these hours). Use the 4, N (which replaces the R to and from Court Street and Jay Street late at night) or A as options.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
