The Heights Players continue their season with Christopher Durang’s Beyond Therapy, which will be showing Friday and Saturday evenings, April 10 and 11, starting at 8:00, and Sunday, April 12 starting at 2:00. On Sunday the Brooklyn Historical Society will present another of Elizabeth Call’s popular “If These Walls Could Talk” programs.
In this intensive workshop you’ll gain hands-on experience conducting house research in our library, using archival images, records, and documents, uncovering the secret history of your Brooklyn home or block!

On Friday evening at 8:00 jazz clarinetist Ken Peplowski and pianist Ted Rosenthal will perform works by Poulenc, Alban Berg, Mr. Rosenthal, and Auric in a “bargemix” concert at Bargemusic. ON Saturday evening at 8:00 and Sunday afternoon at 4:00 the Martinů Quartet will play works by works by Beethoven, Dvořák, and Taneyev. There’s more information and buy tickets here. Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
