Schumer to Deliver Keynote Address at Squadron’s Community Convention This Sunday

Brooklyn’s own U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer will give the keynote address at State Senator Daniel Squadron’s Community Convention this coming Sunday afternoon, April 12 from 2:00 to 5:00 at LES Prep High School, 145 Stanton Street (between Suffolk and Norfolk) in lower Manhattan (F train to the 2nd Avenue station). From Sen. Squadron’s office:

We’ll hear from Senator Schumer, and break into 15 moderated discussions where you can voice your concerns and offer suggestions on the issues that matter to you. And we’ll wrap up with a reception including great food from around the district!

Too often the good ideas of everyday New Yorkers are drowned out by special interests, but that’s simply unacceptable. On topics ranging from tenants’ rights and parks, to ethics reform and social justice, this is a chance to impact our district, city and state.

If you’d like to attend, please RSVP here or call 212-298-5565.

Maybe he’ll use his time to continue his big push for a federal ban on powdered alcohol. Or inhaleable caffeine. What a crock.

Are you implying that Senator Schumer orchestrated The Great Postum Disappearance of Aught-Seven?

Got anything to back that up?

Perhaps he’ll explain why he voted to give George W. Bush a blank check for war in Iraq?
