Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

It’s another green light weekend Friday evening, April 10 to Monday morning, April 13. The only planned change affecting service at local stations is that C trains will be running on a reduced schedule, approximately once every fifteen minutes. Late nights (11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) the following week–Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 18–things get more complicated. Manhattan bound A trains will be diverted to the F line from Jay Street-Metro Tech to West 4th Street, so there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street. To get to Manhattan stops below West 4th, use the 2 from Clark Street or Borough hall (3 trains will not be running during these hours), N (which replaces the R late at night) from Court Street, or 4 from Borough Hall, all of which should be running normally. At the same time, Brooklyn bound N trains will be diverted to the Q line from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue, so there will be no service from Manhattan to Court Street. Use the 2 or 4 as options.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
