Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

There will be service at all local stations this coming weekend (11:30 p.m. Friday, February 6 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 9). There will be no 3 trains running; however, 2 trains should be running normally, and 4 train service will be extended to New Lots Avenue for the benefit of those traveling into Brooklyn. C trains will be running on a reduced schedule; approximately once every fifteen minutes.

The following week (Monday, February 9 to Friday, February 13) during late night hours (11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) there will be no 4 trains running in either direction between the Brooklyn Bridge station in Manhattan and Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center. As 5 trains do not to or from Brooklyn during these hours, this means no service on the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall. During these same late night hours, Brooklyn bound A trains will be diverted to the F line from West 4th Street to Jay Street/MetroTech. This means no service from Manhattan to High Street. Also, during the same hours, 3 trains will not be running, but 2 trains will.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
