Gramercy Park’s Friend of a Farmer Is Expanding to 76 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights

The folks at Gramercy Park’s Friend of a Farmer tell BHB via Twitter that they’ll be opening an eatery here in Brooklyn Heights. The new outlet will move into 76 Montague Street, the former site of Design Within Reach which closed in February.

Assuming that the new restaurant will have similar offerings as the Manhattan original this shakes up the breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch game on Montague Street.

The menu on their website looks scrumptious! Good prices, too.

  • Teresa

Agree on the menu, but think the prices are outrageous.

    Truly fabulous news.

It will give Heights Cafe some competition anyhow. They and Teresa’s have owned that end of Montague for so long.

Prices aside, this sounds like it could up the restaurant game on the street.

Finally a decent restaurant on Montague “The Boulevard of Mediocity” Street. Very exciting and will hopefully make the others up their game.

    Side of fries for $8.

The prices are on a different level than existing Montague Street offerings, but so is the food.
