Did anyone lose a key ring with many keys on it? Saw one on the stoop banister of 15 Pierrepont Street

Ups store on Montague does shredding. I don’t know what they charge.

  • T.K. Small

    Do you mean Henry Street?

  • Monty

They absolutely can which is what’s so perplexing. Squibb park and the bridge are actually administered separately. Squibb Park by DPR and the bridge by the BBP Corporation. I actually just sent a message to Steve Levin (councilman and board member of BBP Corp) inquiring about the closure and letting him know that the PS8 kids are starting school with no outdoor space.

As you said….DEVELOPING…..don’t think we know the real (full) story. The bridge does look twisted but I could also see the regulators worried about something falling toward Squibb or the bridge from the work site.

It’s temporary to accommodate the Photoville exhibit: http://www.brooklynflea.com/2014/09/03/sunday-smorg-to-pier-2-til-oct/. It will return to Pier 5 on Oct. 12 till the end of the season.

I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered the same disgusting problem that I have: in late July and again last week, someone (a person, not a dog) has defecated on my house. I live on garden place, and both times the person has used the stairwell to the door under my stoop as a toilet. One time they leaned up against the wall of the building and had diarrhea. This happened in the morning between 6:30 and 7:45 am. The other time they went to the bottom of the stairs and defecated on the floor. We have an active construction zone across the street with workers often sitting on the stoop in the morning, but I don’t know whether it’s them or someone else. But now that it’s happened twice it’s clearly not a random occurrence. Anybody with a similar problem?

Yeah, Henry St not Clinton. My mistake

Why is the bicyclist an idiot?

Wednesday afternoon I saw two guys on all-terrain vehicles, no license plates, heading north against traffic on Henry Street at Pineapple.

Then, what happened? Does the story have an ending?

I’d spring $149 for a DropCam and place it in window or under the stoop so it captures the pooper in the act. With video footage in hand it should be pretty easy to confront them.

Re: neighborhood mom you need to a
Go some local bars. I suggest along
Atlantic ave and near cobble hill, talk
To bartenders, ask who has been
“Cut off” recently. Also find which beer
Type (well, your culprit is very unlikely
to be a mossel type) left really soused
Or directly ask who knows who “may”
Do this. Carefully mention that you really
Want good relations with bars and restau-
    Rants in the area….

It definitely smells like that and I’m noticing rats on the property (on the Remsen and Clinton sides).

The moment you said “idiots on a bike”, you lost me. I barely bike, but they are surely not idiots. They are mothers, fathers, daughter, sons who bike. They are people that are part of our community. Maybe stop name calling if you want people to back you up.
