Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This Memorial Day weekend (Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26) is another “green light” weekend for stations in Brooklyn Heights or nearby, as there is no planned maintenance directly affecting service at any of these stations, apart from there being no 3 trains running in either direction from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday. However, 2 trains will be running, so there will be service at both Clark Street and on the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall. Those traveling to or from the interior of Brooklyn should know that, during this same time, 2 trains will not be operating beyond Franklin Avenue; free shuttle buses will provide alternate service. Also, during this time, 4 trains will not be operating between Barclays Center and Utica Avenue/New Lots Avenue. 2 trains will provide service between Barclays Center and Franklin Avenue; beyond there, it’s the shuttle buses.

There are no planned cancellations, diversions, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations during the following week (Tuesday, Mat 27 to Friday, May 30). For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
