    I was heading south on Henry, noted that one home on the east side, a few doors north of State, neither the stairs nor the sidewalk had been shoveled. The sidewalk had turned into an ice skating rink, and I warned an elderly (well, older than I am, anyway) couple about it.

    They are, once again, replacing the surface. Problem is that erosion causes the surface to sag, so you get depressed pockets and puddles. That area is where the BQE goes underneath Columbia Heights. The underlying drainage issues are *never* addressed.
