Move Your Car — Adam Sandler’s The Cobbler Is Shooting In Brooklyn Heights Monday

If you’re parked on Orange, Hicks and other streets in the north Brooklyn Heights you better move your car by 5pm Sunday (11/24) or you will be towed due to a movie shoot.

Adam Sandler‘s The Cobbler will be shooting here on Monday. While the plot of the movie has been kept quiet, most outlets are saying it’s about a shoe repair man who magically (or not) assumes the personality of some of his customers. Sounds to us like Franny’s Feet meets Zelig.

Be on the look out for members of the amazing cast as Sandler is joined by Dustin Hoffman and Steve Buscemi. It’s directed and written by Thomas McCarthy (The Station Agent, Win Win)

I wonder when someone will get the bright idea to replicate the entire North Heights on a studio lot?

I was ready to be mad, because this is the second week in a row that we have been hit by the film crews…but, Steve Buscemi and Dustin Hoffman…that’s worth a little tolerance!

    What a great idea!

And they could bring back from oblivion the beautiful facade of 7 Middagh, the “February House”.
