There’s action for naturophiles at Brooklyn Bridge Park this weekend. On Saturday, August 3, starting at 9:30 a.m., on Pier 1, there will be a Birds, Bugs, and Bees tour, and on Sunday, August 4, from noon to 1:30 p.m. there will be Seining the River Wild near the Main Street entrance to the Park in DUMBO. Both these events are free and open to both adults and parents with kids; please RSVP through the links above. Another event that’s great for kids is Puppet Mobile Presents Little Red’s Hood, on Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m. on Pier 6. It’s free, and no RSVP is needed.
