    Is the R line closing?!?! I thought it was just the M.

    As I understand it, the R will continue to run as always but the M will now terminate, like the J, at Broad Street in lower Manhattan. The local effect on R service is that the entrance to the Court Street Station on Montague at Clinton may be closed at night.

    Claude is offering version #3 of what I’ve read about the Montague and Clinton R train: version #1 is that only the token booth at Clinton/Montague will be closed; version #2 is that the entire entrance/exit will be closed, requiring use of the Court/Montague access; and now version #3 refers only to nighttime changes. I’ve tried The Google to resolve the confusion, but sometimes even The Internets come up short. Does anyone have a more definitive clarification?

    The other night I attended the MTA hearings that were held at the Brooklyn Marriott. Whether other BHB people also in attendance?
