A tipster sent in these photos of a crane lift at the building being renovated at 183 Columbia Heights.
No trees were harmed during this operation. The street was blocked for only 40 minutes while a crane lifted a huge metal beam to the roof of 183 Columbia Heights, a building formerly owned by the Jehovahs Witnesses. The building has been undergoing a renovation which is supposedly near completion. The time listed on the photo is actually two hours earlier than real time.
