Bob Marley: The Making of a Legend will be making its Brooklyn premiere at Brooklyn Heights Cinema. The film was directed by Gian Godoy and Esther Anderson; Anderson is a Jamaican actress who filmed the rise of Bob Marley and the Wailers in the early ’70s, and recovered the footage 30 years later. For those dub fans who have seen many of the same Marley clips over the years, this should be an intriguing new look at the man before he became the legend. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the directors.
