In a preview of what’s to come, there will be no R or (late night) N service in either direction between Brooklyn and Manhattan (so no service at Court Street or on the R/N platform at Jay Street-Metro Tech) from 11:30 p.m. Friday until 5:00 A.M. Monday. Use the 2, 3, or 4 as options. Just like last weekend, A and C trains to Manhattan are being diverted over the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street from 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday. So, no Manhattan bound service at High Street. Fortunately, the 2 and 3 should be running normally, so North Heightsers can use those from Clark Street as alternatives.
The following week, the “no service on the R/N line” rule continues as there will be no service in either direction between Manhattan and Brooklyn on those lines late at night, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday. The 2 and 4 are options, but not the 3, which won’t be running during the late and early morning hours (although the 2 will be running on the same line) on those same nights.
