“Us And Them” Stops Traffic

Spring is here, and that means it’s time for orange signs to bloom around the neighborhood. This one is for Us And Them, starring one-time pop sensation Mandy Moore, and described as “a comedy about people balancing their families with their friends.” The site I’m looking at asks its readers “Are you excited to see [Mandy] heading to the small screen?” I was just asking Claude this the other day! It’s like they read my mind.

    Let’s please drop the commercial for the show.

    And let’s focus on the problem which is that they are damn near shutting down parts of the neighborhood and that should not be permitted..

    This isn’t a Mandy Moore TV show. That pilot never made it off the ground. This is a FOX series starting Alexis Bledel and Jason Ritter. Also called “Friends and Family”. Productions will often change their names many times before settling on one.

    Additionally, everyone complaining about productions blocking streets: get over it. NYC is bringing in tons of film and tv jobs and on location shooting is an attractive aspect studios look for. When “boardwalk empire” films, they’re on my street almost very week. They leave and everything goes back to normal. So I can’t park my car on that street for a day or two, big deal
