Yankee Fair Proceeds Support the Greater Brooklyn Community
Organized and staffed by volunteers from the Plymouth Church congregation and the Plymouth Church School Parents’ Association, this festival serves a larger purpose. Proceeds raised each year by Yankee Fair are donated to local charities, and this year Plymouth is pleased to support New York Cares and its programs at P.S. 371/Lillian L. Rashkis School in Sunset Park. P.S. 371 is a special education school with programs devoted to children with autism, learning disabilities and emotional disturbances. Yankee Fair proceeds will help fund “Cook Your Own Breakfast,” a new program at the school that strengthens independence through teaching the activities of daily living and good nutrition.
